Tree Service Specialist (Climber / Grounds / CDL)
Our client is seeking highly capable arborists to execute complex, production-oriented arboricultural work. This role demands adaptability to dynamic daily schedules and a readiness to handle physically demanding, technically challenging, and potentially high-risk tasks, including typical 10-hour production days. The successful candidate will act as a crucial crew member on diverse job sites, managing everything from emergency storm response to advanced rigging.

Responsibilities
- Execute technical and hazardous tree removals, large-tree pruning, and crane-assisted tree removals.
- Utilize traditional and advanced rigging techniques while working safely around structures, utilities, and high-value targets.
- Operate and maintain essential tree-care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and mini-skids.
- Adapt to changing job-site conditions and respond effectively to storm damage or emergency situations.
- Maintain a strict respect for safety protocols while working alongside the crew to ensure efficient project completion.
- Commit to longer production days when necessary to meet operational requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the tree service industry.
- A true production-oriented arboriculture background, rather than exclusively light residential work or ornamental pruning.
- Demonstrated proficiency operating chainsaws, chippers, and mini-skids.
- Strong physical capability, reliable attendance, and a work ethic driven by hustle and urgency.
- A coachable mindset with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Nice to have: A Class A CDL, or specialized experience in climbing, bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and crane-assisted jobs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Climber / Aerial Lift Operator: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.
- Grounds Crew (CDL): $26.00 - $35.00 per hour.
- Grounds Crew (Non-CDL): $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
