Evolve Landscaping is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Leader to join our team.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows landscape construction, takes pride in doing things the right way, and can lead a crew to safely and efficiently complete high-quality commercial landscape projects.
What You'll Do
- Lead and work alongside a landscape construction crew
- Organize daily jobsite activities, materials, equipment, and crew assignments
- Read and understand landscape plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Install trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, soil, drainage, and other landscape materials
- Perform grading, site preparation, and general landscape construction
- Ensure installations meet Evolve's quality standards and project specifications
- Train and develop crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety
- Track job progress and communicate field conditions, material needs, and potential issues to your supervisor
- Properly operate and care for trucks, trailers, equipment, and tools
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Lead by example and hold the crew accountable for quality, productivity, and safety
What We're Looking For
- Commercial landscape construction or installation experience
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper landscape installation and construction practices
- Ability to read landscape plans and understand project specifications
- Experience operating landscape and construction equipment
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to plan work, solve problems in the field, and keep a crew productive
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and perform the physical requirements of landscape construction
