Evolve Landscaping is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team.
As a Maintenance Crew Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a landscape maintenance crew and ensuring our commercial properties are maintained to Evolve's standards. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to lead a team, and understands that great landscaping is about more than completing a route—it's about delivering consistent quality and taking care of our customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead and work alongside a commercial landscape maintenance crew
- Organize daily work and keep the crew productive and on schedule
- Ensure properties are maintained to Evolve's quality standards
- Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, and other landscape maintenance tasks
- Train and develop crew members on proper techniques, safety, and expectations
- Inspect completed work and correct issues before leaving the property
- Properly operate and care for trucks, trailers, equipment, and tools
- Communicate property concerns and enhancement opportunities to your Account Manager
- Maintain a safe, professional work environment for your crew
What We're Looking For
- Commercial landscape maintenance experience
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and equipment
- Ability to lead by example and hold a team accountable
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage a daily route
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and perform the physical requirements of landscape maintenance work
