The Role
At Dohner Landscaping, we're looking for a Commercial Account Manager to lead and grow our commercial maintenance division. This role is part relationship manager, part problem solver, part business developer, and part operational quarterback.
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of roughly 75 commercial landscape and snow clients -- an active, year-round book of business that keeps moving through every season. This is not a "sit back and maintain accounts" role. We're looking for someone who takes pride in ownership, sees opportunities others miss, and genuinely enjoys building long-term partnerships with clients.
Day to day, you'll be out on client sites regularly -- checking in, meeting with decision-makers, identifying enhancement opportunities, and making sure the work in the field matches the promises we made when we won the business. You'll coordinate closely with multiple field crews, work alongside our estimating team, and use LMN to manage your accounts and track what's happening across your portfolio.
The rhythm of this role is consistent and demanding in the best way -- there's no slow season. Summer keeps you busy with maintenance, and winter keeps you busy with snow. You'll need to stay organized, communicate proactively, and stay ahead of issues before clients have to raise them.

- Maintaining strong relationships across a $2M+ commercial portfolio
- Achieving a 90%+ client renewal rate
- Identifying and closing enhancement and upsell opportunities
- Growing the client base through new account sales
- Maintaining strong gross profit margins

Compensation
Total Compensation:
$90,000 - $125,000+
- Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
- Performance Incentives: $35,000 - $55,000+ (uncapped)
