Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist
This position drives the fiscal strength of the organization by managing high-volume payroll and processing accounts payable invoices. The ideal candidate will take ownership of vendor accounts, accurately track inventory, and ensure financial records are meticulously maintained.

Responsibilities
- Process high-volume payroll accurately for year-round employees, seasonal staff, and subcontractors.
- Execute accounts payable operations, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are made accurately and on time.
- Manage and maintain detailed records, completing highly detailed contract entries during peak seasons.
- Track and process year-end 1099 forms while overseeing inventory and asset management.
- Perform manual journal entry adjustments to reconcile inventory and budgeting across non-integrated systems.
- Assist with reconciliations, budgeting, and other accounting-related projects as required.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field strongly preferred.
- Bring a minimum of two years of required experience in accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting operations.
- Demonstrate two years of proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, alongside Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Utilize strong intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including hands-on experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, decisive independent thinking, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional appearance and personable communication style suitable for a business casual, in-person office environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $21.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
