Position Summary
Complete Landsculpture is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Purchasing Agent to oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, plant quality, and yard operations. This role is responsible for sourcing landscape and construction materials, coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, and supporting field operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have strong horticultural knowledge, purchasing experience, and the ability to manage yard operations and crew activities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Purchase and coordinate delivery of plant, irrigation, hardscape, and construction materials
· Develop and maintain strong vendor and grower relationships
· Negotiate pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
· Issue and manage purchase orders and invoices
· Monitor plant inventory and ensure quality standards are maintained
· Oversee daily yard operations, organization, and material flow
· Supervise and prioritize yard crew activities
· Coordinate material needs with Construction, Maintenance, and Project Management teams
· Ensure yard safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
· Assist with material tracking, budgeting, and inventory control
Qualifications
· Minimum 4 years of landscape purchasing, nursery, or related industry experience
· Strong knowledge of plant materials, landscape construction materials, and horticultural practices
· Ability to read landscape plans and specifications
· Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
· Experience managing yard operations or supervising crews preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
