THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a DFW-based aggregate carrier, freight broker, and construction materials supplier growing quickly in one of the hottest construction markets in the country. We haul and supply limestone, sand, gravel, crushed concrete, rip rap, and specialty aggregates to ready-mix companies, paving contractors, general contractors, and landscape supply companies across the region.
We are looking for a driven, part-time regional sales rep to help us grow our customer base and take care of the customers we already have. If you know people in the construction or landscape supply world in DFW — and you know how to open doors and build relationships — this role was built for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Identify and pursue new customers in the construction and landscape supply industries across the DFW region — GCs, paving companies, excavation contractors, ready-mix plants, and landscape supply yards
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, staying in regular contact to ensure we remain their first call for aggregate and bulk material needs
• Understand what customers need — material type, volume, timing, budget — and work with our operations team to make sure we can deliver competitively
• Represent the company professionally in the field, at job sites, and at industry events
• Feed market intelligence back to ownership — pricing trends, competitor activity, new projects breaking ground, and customer feedback
WHAT YOU BRING
• An existing network in DFW construction, landscaping, or building materials — you know people and they know you
• A hunter mentality — you are comfortable cold calling, door knocking job sites, and following up until you get a meeting
• Enough understanding of aggregate, bulk materials, or construction logistics to have a credible conversation with a project manager or purchasing agent
• Self-motivated and organized — this is a field role with autonomy, and you will need to manage your own pipeline without constant direction
COMPENSATION & DETAILS
Structure: Base + commission — competitive and tied directly to what you bring in
Schedule: Part-time, flexible — we care about results, not hours
Territory: DFW Metroplex and surrounding region
