Position Summary: This position is open as a temp to full-time position. The starting hours would range 24-30 hours to start until full time hire would begin. During temporary time, the pay would be hourly based on the salary offer. The Designer creates quality landscape designs with an attention to functional use of the space and aesthetic resonance. These designs are then drafted into clear, concise, construction documents that become a part of the client presentation. The Designer collaborates closely with the Sales Consultant throughout the process.

Responsibilities:
- Research and identify design trends, materials, and techniques
- Identify client needs through active listening and clarifying questions
- Create construction drawings/blueprints in AutoCAD
- Conduct site analysis including measurements, elevations, grades, drainage, sun/shade/wind, & geospatial mapping
- Conduct site inventory to include all existing conditions
- Create 3D design renderings of design concepts
- Collaborate with and/or provide support to Sales/Design team as appropriate
- Maintain a client centered perspective throughout design/sales process including active listening and responsiveness
- Research public records to enhance understanding of client’s property and design
- Maintain working knowledge of building regulations, codes, bylaws, and other legal matters related to property
- Actively integrate a variety of materials, textures, features, and layouts into design based on client design requirements
- Create designs that align with client design and budget requirements
- Ensure construction plans include accurate naming conventions and quantities
- Provide clients with design guidance to help enhance their design objectives by offering alternative design solutions
Education/Experience/Requirements:
- Associates degree in Landscape Design or similar (required)
- 1-3 years industry design experience
- Working knowledge of hard & soft scape processes & techniques
- Design portfolio
- Driver’s License with < 2 points
- Bilingual in Spanish & English (preferred)
