Responsibilities
- Supervise and work alongside a 2 - 3 person crew to safely and efficiently complete landscape construction projects.
- Lead the installation of landscape beds, patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, outdoor living areas, and fiberglass pools.
- Operate landscape construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, saws, grinders, laser levels, and hand tools.
- Coordinate daily activities and project updates with the Manager to ensure project goals are met.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles, equipment, and job sites.
- Accurately track job progress and crew hours using LMN (Landscape Management Software).
- Clean and inspect all equipment at the start and end of each day.
- Organize and maintain the shop area after work completion.
- Load trucks with necessary tools and materials for daily assignments.
- Review daily schedules and lead team members to job sites, ensuring efficient and timely work.
- Manage route adjustments, site changes, or issues, and communicate with the supervisor as needed.
- Support snow removal operations during the winter season as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape installation and supervising crews.
- Ability to work 40 - 50 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Skilled in working with natural stone and man-made stone/pavers for patios, walls, and outdoor living areas.
- Valid driver's license (must be insurable under company policy).
- Availability for snow removal operations during the winter season.
- Experience using LMN or other mobile time tracking applications (preferred).
