The Residential & Commercial Landscaping Account Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of existing residential and commercial accounts. You would be given a book of existing business. This role combines client relationship management, business development, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is driven, professional, and comfortable managing multiple large landscaping accounts while building strong relationships with property managers, homeowners’ associations (HOAs), and commercial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and responsiveness.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and branch operations to ensure expectations, scope, and service levels are aligned.
- Generate and secure new contracts with HOAs, property managers, industrial sites, and residential communities.
- Develop proposals and present service offerings to prospective clients.
- Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling of services.
- Identify site improvement opportunities and sell landscape enhancement services.
- Oversee production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain a working knowledge of basic horticultural principles and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ensure all crews operate safely and in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Review and manage monthly budgets, tracking performance and reporting results to leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in landscaping sales with residential or commercial clients.
- Pruning & irrigation experience.
- Experience managing client accounts or service contracts preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
