Position Overview
Reinhart Landscaping & Snow is seeking a driven, accountable Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial properties in the Peoria market. This role is responsible for customer retention, revenue growth, and client satisfaction through proactive communication, consistent property audits, and strategic sales of enhancements and landscape services. This is not a passive role. The right candidate will operate as a trusted advisor, take ownership of their book of business, and drive results with urgency, discipline, and a strong focus on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial properties
- Conduct regular site visits and property audits
- Manage contract renewals and retain accounts
- Identify, pursue, and close enhancement and landscape opportunities
- Communicate proactively with customers and operations teams
- Maintain consistent follow-up on all proposals and opportunities
What Success Looks Like
- Maintain high customer retention
- Grow revenue through enhancements and landscape sales
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Maintain an active and accurate pipeline in Aspire
- Ensure work is sold, scheduled, and executed on time
Seasonality & Snow Expectations
- This role supports both green season and snow operations.
- Snow events are weather-driven and require flexibility
- Hours may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- The Account Manager must remain responsive during snow events
- Proactive communication before, during, and after snow events is critical
- Customer satisfaction during snow season directly impacts retention
- This role requires doing what is needed, when it is needed, to meet customer expectations and uphold Reinhart service standards.
Accountability & Activity Expectations
- Conduct weekly customer visits and property audits
- Maintain consistent follow-up on proposals and open opportunities
- Demonstrate strong ownership of results and communication
- Move opportunities through the pipeline with urgency
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field
- Landscaping, property management, or service industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong time management ability
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, field-based role
- Experience with Aspire software (or other CRM Software) is a plus
