Join White Pearl, a leader in luxury landscape management, as a Turf and Plant Health Care Spray Technician. This role is crucial in maintaining the health and aesthetic appeal of our landscapes by being the tactical team member to recognize, report and then use a treatment plan to attack the pests, diseases, and other issues found. The successful candidate will administer the application of treatments to address these various landscape challenges. Responsibilities
- Execute the turf care program to ensure lawns are weed-free, green, and healthy.
- Implement the plant health care program to keep ornamental plants pest and disease-free.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success.
- Follow up on chemical applicators and applications to check efficiency.
- Ensure environmental chemical hazard awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of work-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in managing chemical applications and equipment.
- Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish, but not mandatory.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of Boss Software is helpful.
- Excellent time management and observation skills.
- Ability to work with diverse personalities.
- Must maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current necessary licenses or certifications required for applications or willing to get certifications within 2 months of employment.
