Shinto Landscaping is seeking an experienced
Account Manager to oversee commercial landscape maintenance accounts in the
Hollywood, Florida area. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring maintenance quality standards, supporting field teams, and driving enhancement opportunities across assigned properties.
The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and experienced in managing landscape crews and commercial landscape accounts. Typical hours are Monday-Friday
6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, though hours may vary depending on operational needs. Occasional Saturday work is required as well. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position with a company vehicle and bonus/commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and property managers
- Maintain strong relationships and regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns or service issues promptly
- Identify opportunities for enhancements and track proposals with clients
- Schedule daily crew activities using Aspire and manage route efficiency
- Visit job sites regularly to monitor quality and provide guidance to crews
- Assist foremen in managing job hours, labor efficiency, and overtime
- Coordinate services with internal departments including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and arbor
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding and employee training and development
- Monitor timesheets, attendance, and scheduling
- Address safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Account Manager or leadership experience in landscaping or related field is ideal
- 5+ years managing landscape maintenance employees or crews is required
- Strong client communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage schedules, crews, and multiple accounts
- Computer and technology proficiency required; Aspire experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs when necessary
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
