Production Facility Manager (Landscaping)

About the Position
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role acts as the logistical backbone for all landscaping crews and nursery operations. This is a seasonal, hourly position running from approximately March 1st through December 15th, requiring a commitment of 50–60 hours per week to meet business demands.
Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate heavy equipment, including large loaders, skid steers, and mini skid loaders, to manage site logistics.
- Support Crews: Facilitate daily operations by loading materials for crews and providing ongoing support for equipment and material deliveries.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee nursery stock by sorting and tagging plants, maintaining inventory levels, and picking up materials from various vendors.
- Maintain Facility: Ensure the yard remains organized and safe by cleaning materials, organizing equipment, and performing miscellaneous nursery duties.
- Oversee Irrigation: Perform basic irrigation tasks to ensure all plants and trees are properly watered throughout the day.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in the landscaping industry is required.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid CDL Class C License and a clean driving record.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for coordinating daily logistics.
- Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are considered a strong plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work 50–60 hours per week during the operational season.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience).
