Pay Range: $25.60 – $32.43 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm
Seasonal flexibility is required for snow removal and weather-driven priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Turf Maintenance
- Oversee turf health through aeration, overseeding, topdressing, and fertilization.
- Monitor for pests, weeds, and disease; arrange organic or approved treatments.
- Supervise contractors and POC for turf-related work.
Landscape & Seasonal Grounds Care
- Serve as the primary owner of campus grounds year-round.
- Maintain beds, perennials, and shrubs through pruning, trimming, and deadheading.
- Apply organic fertilizers, soil amendments, and compost tea.
- Design and maintain visually appealing, healthy plant arrangements.
- Support irrigation inspection, adjustment, and seasonal startup/winterization.
- Maintain walkways, hardscape, and landscaped features free of debris.
Snow & Ice Management
- Clear snow from sidewalks, paths, and pedestrian areas.
- Apply ice‑control products and support snow‑equipment mobilization.
- Respond promptly to changing conditions to ensure safe access.
Equipment & Safety
- Safely operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow equipment, and other tools.
- Follow safety protocols and report damaged equipment or hazards promptly.
Resident & Staff Support
- Provide excellent customer service when responding to landscaping or snow-related concerns.
- Coordinate with resident groups on approved grounds-related requests.
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality landscape maintenance.
- Ability to operate landscaping and snow‑removal equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in heat, cold, snow, and ice.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Knowledge
- Horticultural principles, turf management, and plant health care.
- Irrigation inspection, adjustment, and seasonal maintenance.
- Organic and sustainable lawn/garden practices.
- Snow and ice management techniques.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Preferred: irrigation experience, pesticide certification, arborist training.
