About the Position
This role serves as the primary on-site leader, accountable for daily production, quality control, and crew supervision. The Landscape Foreman is responsible for leading installation crews in the field and ensuring landscape construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape installation crews on assigned job sites to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Execute comprehensive landscape construction work, including grading, planting, hardscape installation, irrigation, and drainage.
- Review project plans, layouts, and specifications prior to starting work to ensure accuracy and alignment with client vision.
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members to maximize productivity.
- Monitor production, workmanship, and job progress throughout the day to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain job site safety and strictly enforce company safety policies to protect the team and property.
- Communicate job progress, issues, and material needs to the Project Manager.
Requirements
- 3+ years of landscape construction or installation experience.
- Prior experience leading crews or acting as a lead installer is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and understand landscape plans and layouts.
- Basic understanding of equipment operation and job site safety protocols.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively guide teams.
- Valid driver’s license.
Compensation & Benefits
- $34 – $40 per hour depending on experience.
