About the Role
We’re expanding our team and looking for a driven, relationship-focused Key Account Manager (KAM) to own and grow our most valuable client relationships. You’ll manage a high-impact book of 8–10 accounts representing $1 million+ in annual spend, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
This is a true hunter-farmer role: protect and grow existing revenue while uncovering new opportunities for equipment, fleet expansion, parts, and service programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build deep, lasting partnerships with owners and decision-makers of top accounts
- Develop and execute account-specific growth plans targeting 15–25% YoY revenue increase
- Regularly visit job sites, offices, and industry events throughout the Tampa Bay region
- Collaborate with sales, service, and parts teams to deliver customized solutions fast
- Resolve issues quickly and maintain 90–95%+ client retention
- Own all activity, pipeline, and forecasting in Monday.com CRM
- Represent LESS at trade shows, association meetings, and after-hours networking events
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven success in B2B account management or outside sales
- Track record of growing revenue within existing accounts
- Experience in landscaping, golf, arborist, construction, or equipment industries is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset — able to spot opportunities and build strategic plans
- Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs occasionally (loading demos, delivering parts, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with strong experience
- Experience with MS Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, & CRM preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $48,000 – $65,000 (DOE)
- Uncapped commission + performance bonuses — realistic Year 1 OTE $75,000–$100,000+
