Overview:
As an Irrigation Manager, you will oversee all aspects of commercial and residential irrigation systems. Your responsibilities include scheduling, training the Irrigation/Lighting Team, and managing system activations, winterizations, repair calls, and backflow prevention tests.
Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets high standards and exceeds customer expectations.

Team Management: Hire and fire field team members. Manage work schedules, crew departures and arrivals, and approve daily timesheets and payroll.

Communication: Maintain proactive communication and positive relationships with the Account Management Team.

Customer Relations: Conduct welcome visits to new clients and follow up on leads and referrals to ensure clients have all necessary information.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting excellent customer service, integrity, and professionalism.

Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for jobs.

Department Coordination: Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to plan and achieve departmental goals efficiently.

Meeting Participation: Attend company and departmental meetings as required. Represent the company at industry events to stay updated on trends and new products.

Weather Adaptability: Manage scheduled work and teams in various weather conditions, including occasional Saturdays.
Qualifications:
- Ability to manage the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems and drainage, including reading architectural drawings and proposal documents.
- Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance and design.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and industry-related software such as Aspire, Google Earth, and Outlook.
- Valid Driver’s License (MO Class E).
- State and/or St. Louis County Backflow Prevention Certification preferred but not required.
Required Experience:
- Degree or certificate in Landscape, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in irrigation installation, management, with a focus on customer service and water management solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of irrigation operations, including grading, trenching, drainage, lighting, and 2-wire systems.
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of retail management experience.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
