Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily on-site operations for landscape and hardscape installation projects, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Execute project plans with precision, including the installation of patios, pathways, retaining walls, and refined plantings.
- Ensure all construction and installation work adheres to the highest standards of enduring craftsmanship and safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and oversee crew members to foster professional growth and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to provide progress updates and resolve on-site challenges.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and tools to ensure optimal performance and workplace safety.
- Advocate for sustainable and regenerative landscape practices during every phase of the project build.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, and masonry installation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, direct, and motivate a crew in the field.
- Deep knowledge of hardscape installation techniques (e.g., interlocking concrete pavers, retaining walls) and proper plant care.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards (ICPI, NCMA, or similar certifications are a strong plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to accurately interpret landscape design plans and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various seasonal weather conditions.
