Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Landscaper role located in Farmington, MI. The Landscaper will perform daily tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, planting, mulching, and maintaining flower beds and lawns. Responsibilities include assisting with landscape installation projects, operating and maintaining landscaping equipment, and supporting irrigation setup and basic troubleshooting. The role also involves following safety guidelines, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and collaborating with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. The Landscaper is expected to maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform core landscaping tasks, including Landscaping and Landscape Maintenance
- Skills in Gardening, such as planting, pruning, and caring for plants and shrubs
- Experience or familiarity with Irrigation systems, including basic installation and maintenance
- Understanding of Landscape Design principles or willingness to learn design basics
- Capability to work outdoors for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy materials and equipment
- Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow directions and work efficiently with others
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Farmington, MI job site
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience is preferred but not required
