This Landscape Install Crew Lead role directs daily operations for landscaping and outdoor installation projects, ensuring high-quality results from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Direct and manage a landscape installation crew to complete projects on time, within scope, and to exact specifications.
- Execute general landscaping duties, including planting trees and shrubs, weeding, mulching, and site cleanups.
- Install effective drainage solutions to ensure proper water mitigation and landscape longevity.
- Assist with and oversee hardscape installations—such as retaining walls, patios, and walkways—ensuring structural integrity.
- Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe, working order, reporting any maintenance needs proactively.
- Train and mentor junior crew members on best practices for site preparation, planting techniques, and workplace safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape installation, general landscaping, planting, and drainage systems.
- Prior experience in a crew leadership, foreman, or supervisory role within the landscaping industry.
- Strong knowledge of plant materials, weed identification, and proper horticultural techniques.
- Hardscape experience (brick pavers, retaining walls, patios) is highly preferred and considered a major plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, including the ability to safely operate company trucks and trailers.
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
