Role Description
GCS Outdoors is seeking Landscape Crew Members for a full-time, on-site role based out of Newbury, MA. Responsibilities include assisting with landscape installation, maintenance, operating landscaping equipment, planting shrubs, flowers, and trees, and ensuring properties are maintained to high standards. Additional duties include performing seasonal tasks such as mulching, pruning, and snow management as necessary, and contributing to a clean and organized work environment. Collaboration with team members and adherence to safety guidelines are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and skills in landscape installation, maintenance, and hardscape construction
- Experience with landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools
- Understanding of seasonal landscaping tasks like mulching, pruning, and snow management
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous landscaping or outdoor maintenance experience is preferred but not required
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus
