Position Overview
The Landscape Salesperson plays a key role in representing The Lawn Rangers both in the field and in the office. This position is responsible for generating new business, preparing estimates, meeting with clients, and supporting our mowing and landscape crews. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and comfortable working hands‑on outdoors as well as handling administrative and sales responsibilities inside the office.
This role is 50% field work and 50% office work.
Key Responsibilities
Field Responsibilities (50%)
- Work alongside mowing and landscape crews to understand job requirements, scope, and production needs
- Visit job sites to take measurements, photos, and notes for estimates
- Meet with clients on‑site to discuss project goals, expectations, and service options
- Assist crews as needed to ensure quality standards and timelines are met
- Perform site evaluations for drainage, grading, plant health, and landscape conditions
- Represent The Lawn Rangers professionally while out in the community
Office Responsibilities (50%)
- Prepare accurate estimates for mowing, landscaping, cleanups, and design/build projects
- Follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and maintain communication with clients
- Enter job details, measurements, and notes into company software
- Build proposals and send them to clients in a timely manner
- Track sales pipeline and maintain organized records
- Coordinate with the owner, sales manager, and crew leaders to schedule work
- Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in‑office interactions
Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor services (preferred)
- Experience with landscape design programs (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to take accurate measurements and understand basic landscape layouts
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, estimate software)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Programs and One Drive.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Schedule & Compensation
- Full‑time position
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays during peak season
- Pay based on experience, with opportunities for commission or performance bonuses
