The Senior
Director of Learning & Research is a key member of the Leadership Team
responsible for shaping meaningful experiences, advancing scientific impact,
and deepening a connection to our mission.

Lead
strategy and impact by shaping and executing a vision for learning, engagement,
history, and research through mission-driven programs that serve schools,
families, members and community groups.

Create
compelling, inclusive, and innovative experiences and events that encourage repeat
visitation, deepen a connection with our mission, and contribute to revenue
growth.

Advance
science and storytelling by collaborating across teams to bring our science,
history, and conservation work to life in ways that resonate with today’s
audiences and building upon STEAM initiatives, while implementing evaluation
tools to measure effectiveness and guest impact.

Lead
and develop teams through mentorship, fostering a culture of collaboration,
accountability, and innovation.

Drive
performance and sustainability through oversight of departmental budgets and
ensuring fiscal responsibility.
