KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DEMOLITION & SITE PREPARATION
• Remove existing concrete patios, walkways, and hardscape features
• Break up and haul demolition debris
• Excavate soil for hardscape base preparation
• Protect property during demolition work
HARDSCAPE INSTALLATION SUPPORT
• Assist with excavation and grading for paver patios and walkways
• Move and spread aggregate base material
• Operate plate compactor under supervision
• Help stage pavers, stone, and materials
• Support installation as directed
MATERIAL HANDLING
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Transport pavers, stone, sand, and aggregate on-site
• Organize materials for efficient workflow
• Maintain material inventory
SITE CLEANUP
• Daily cleanup of work area
• Remove debris throughout project
• Final cleanup at completion
• Wash and organize tools daily

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE:
✓ Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
✓ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
✓ Reliable transportation to job sites (Chicago and suburbs)
✓ Punctual - arrive on time consistently (8:00 AM start)
✓ Ability to follow directions and take instruction
✓ Strong work ethic and positive attitude
✓ Basic English for safety communication
✓ Stamina to perform physical labor for 8+ hours/day
PREFERRED (Not Required):
• Previous construction, landscaping, or general labor experience
• Familiarity with hand tools
• Driver's license
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT
TYPICAL WORK WEEK:
• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Saturday: Optional at $30/hour (time-and-a-half)
• Sunday: Not available (no Sunday work)
• 20-40 hours/week depending on project schedule
• Reduced hours in winter months (December-February)
WORK LOCATIONS:
• Residential and commercial sites throughout Chicago and 30-mile radius
• 100% outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Physically demanding environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
PAY:
• $20/hour base pay
• $30/hour overtime (Saturdays or 40+ hours/week)
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
• Typical earnings: $600-$800/week ($950+ with Saturdays)
