What You'll Do
As a Hardscape Material Landscape Supplier Yard Worker & Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. This position involves a balance of physical work in the yard, handling hardscape materials, and providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be committed to providing helpful, knowledgeable service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing hardscape materials such as pavers, stone, and other landscaping products.
- Load and unload hardscape materials from supply trucks and assist customers with loading their purchases.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the yard and storage areas.
- Perform inventory checks and help manage stock levels.
- Provide information and advice to customers regarding the use and installation of products
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer service procedures and standards.
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of hardscape materials and landscaping products is a plus.
- Forklift operation experience or willingness to learn.
