About the Position Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician/Specialist to ensure the optimal performance and water efficiency of various landscape irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with landscaping teams to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems, while also utilizing their expertise to train and guide junior technicians.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct regular inspections and execute necessary repairs, including handling lateral, valve, and electrical components.
- Collaborate directly with landscape teams to design and implement efficient irrigation layouts.
- Locate existing irrigation systems and utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete related tasks.
- Maintain highly accurate records detailing the work performed and materials used on every job site.
- Perform other related duties as assigned while assisting in training newer irrigation techs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Irrigation Technician (required) , with 5–10 years of experience highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and familiarity with Hydrawise and Centralus systems.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Certifications such as Certified Irrigation Technician (Irrigation Association), Certified Landscape Technician (National Association of Landscape Professionals), or Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor are highly beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: 8-hour Day shift
- Commute: Must be able to reliably commute to Loveland, CO
