Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to communicate effectively. As a crew member, you and your team members will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of our clients’ personal gardens.
Responsibilities

Plant Care & Maintenance: Execute detailed gardening tasks such as deadheading, weeding, staking, and cultivating garden beds. Recognizing plant material in stress or in a problem state.

Pruning: Skillfully prune shrubs, perennials, and small trees to maintain shape and health. Must be able to prune selectively by hand or mechanically.

Seasonal Tasks: Apply mulch and soil amendments to garden beds. Plant, transplant, and install seasonal annuals, bulbs, and containers.

Equipment Operation: Safely use hand tools and small power equipment like hedge trimmers, shears, and backpack blowers, weed-eaters, edgers, mowers, and other handheld or powered landscaping tools.

Site Cleanup: Maintain site cleanliness, including debris removal and tool cleanup.

Lawn Care: Mowing, edging, weed-eating, aerating. Apply fertilizers and other chemicals as instructed

Irrigation: Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
- Communicating with supervisors should any issues arise.

Experience: Previous experience in fine gardening, perennial care, or professional landscaping is highly preferred.

Horticultural Knowledge: Understanding of plant identification, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand, kneel, and bend for long periods in various weather conditions. Ability to work after hours and overtime if necessary

Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a team. Communicating with supervisors should arise.

License: Valid driver's license preferred.
