Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lawn Fertilizer Applicator based in Schenectady, NY. The Lawn Fertilizer Applicator will be responsible for applying fertilizers and treatments to lawns, ensuring proper care and maintenance of landscapes. Daily tasks include mixing and managing chemicals, operating equipment, and adhering to safety standards while consistently providing excellent customer service. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to execute tasks efficiently in compliance with company protocols.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, including safe handling and application of fertilizers and treatments
- Experience with operating and maintaining lawn care and landscaping equipment
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and chemical handling practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and customer service capabilities
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally as needed
- Previous experience in landscaping or lawn care is preferred
