About the Role
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients. Your main objective in this role is to build and maintain long-term, loyal customer relationships while ensuring that our services consistently meet or exceed expectations. This position plays a central part in both client satisfaction and the overall growth of the branch.
What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you would be responsible for:
Client Service
- Developing strong, lasting client relationships
- Conducting site walk-throughs and regular client meetings
- Presenting enhancement ideas and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively
Sales & Growth
- Identifying opportunities for account expansion and enhancements
- Networking to secure new opportunities and referrals
- Preparing accurate estimates and proposals
Production Coordination
- Working closely with the Production Manager and Branch Manager
- Ensuring client expectations are communicated clearly to production teams
- Participating in branch production meetings and coordinating site visits
Administrative Responsibilities
- Managing contracts, estimates, sales reports, and work orders
- Maintaining satisfactory accounts receivable levels
- Supporting various branch tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings:
- At least 5 years of customer service, management, and/or industry experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and internal teams
- Knowledge of landscape services and estimating (or willingness to develop this expertise)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong leadership qualities
