CAN START NOW DURING SNOW SEASON CURRENTLY HAVE A TREE WORK BACK-LOG AND COULD ALSO WORK SNOW ON-CALL WHEN BACK-LOG IS COMPLETED AND THEN WORK INTO GREEN SEASON.

PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $25-$30 PER HOUR AND IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS YOU HOLD BEYOND THE REQUIRED LICENSES.

Position Summary

Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by the Crew Leader by safely performing the following duties:

Responsibilities

Climb trees, using climbing hooks and belts, or climb ladders to gain access to work areas
Evaluate tree health for safety of climb
Drive company vehicle up to an including a bucket truck as needed - CDL A preferred but Chauffeur's license is REQUIRED.

Qualifications

1 or more years of experience in tree climbing and rigging
Able to demonstrate working knowledge of basic climbing knots and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations
Lift heavy objects over 50 pounds
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (includes a Drug Test)

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
CDL A
Bilingual (Spanish)
Good work ethic
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Familiarity with the techniques and equipment used in landscaping.
Ability to handle the physicality of our work: weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking.
