About The Role
As our Residential Sales Manager, you’ll take the lead in guiding and developing our residential sales team across Gainesville and St. Augustine. Working closely with the Sales Director, you’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence and strengthening client relationships. You’ll coach your team through the full sales process, set clear expectations with accountability and partner with our operations team to make sure every project handoff is smooth, follow-up is timely, and our customers have a great experience from start to finish. While also increasing our residential sales revenue to promote growth in the company and for the team. Your leadership will help create confidence, momentum, and sales growth across the residential sales team.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Own team-wide sales goals across residential landscaping, lawn care, pest control, and irrigation services
- Oversee lead management, pipeline progress, and proposal accuracy to maximize conversion
- Track and analyze key performance metrics including proposal dollars, close rates, revenue per rep, and average job size
- Review open proposals weekly and coach team members on effective follow-up strategies to increase close ratio
- Lead weekly residential Level – 10 meetings to review performance, solve issues, and align on priorities
- Onboard and train new Landscape Sales Consultants using TMLP systems and playbooks
- Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings focused on accountability, growth, and professional development
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Step in to fill sales gaps and ensure company sales targets are consistently exceeded
- Support the team in closing large, strategic, and complex opportunities
- Manage team scorecards and ensure CRM (Aspire) data is accurate and up to date
- Partner with the Sales Director to set quarterly sales goals and company “rocks”
- Coordinate closely with operations leaders to ensure smooth handoffs
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales leadership (landscape, pest control, irrigation, or home services preferred)
- Strong understanding of the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal to close
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- High comfort level with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and reporting dashboards
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Minimum Required Experience And Education
- 4+ years of total experience in the green industry, contractor services, or B2C sales
- At least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Proficiency with Aspire, or similar CRM/sales tracking tools
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
