🌿 About the Role:
We’re hiring an Account Manager to join a growing, Columbus-based landscaping and grounds management company known for its professionalism, customer service, and community
values.
This role reports directly to the CEO and is a key player in client satisfaction, contract execution, and long-term relationship development. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for a set of customer accounts, ensuring seamless communication, proactive site visits, timely estimates, and strategic recommendations that contribute to our clients’ success—and ours.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Own customer communication and build long-lasting relationshipsConduct site inspections, gather feedback, and suggest service improvements
- Manage account health: updates, escalations, estimate follow-ups, contract renewals
- Support contract negotiations and proposal presentations
- Monitor account profitability, project status, and billing alignment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and leadership teams
- Stay current with landscaping industry trends and customer expectations
🧩 What We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of Account Management or B2B Client Services experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in negotiation and presenting proposals
- Detail-oriented and organized; strong follow-through on tasks
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License; able to travel locally to customer sitesTech-savvy: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Nice-to-Haves:
- Landscaping or grounds maintenance industry experience
- Experience with LMN software
- or CRM systemsPrior exposure to SAP or QuickBooks tools for contract and invoicing tracking
