We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager to spearhead growth through professional networks and partnerships. This role is responsible for building and managing relationships with landscape architects, contractors, and industry professionals who design, specify, or install turf in their projects. The ideal candidate will be a connector, relationship-builder, and sales strategist with a passion for sustainable landscaping solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Management
- Identify, engage, and build lasting relationships with landscape architects, contractors, and other professionals in adjacent industries.
- Serve as the primary Turf Haus contact for partners who design, specify, or purchase turf.
- Manage accounts to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term loyalty.
Channel Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a clear plan for reaching and converting professionals with turf in their current or potential portfolios.
- Educate industry professionals on the benefits of Turf Haus products, including 100% permeability and sustainability advantages.
- Establish and manage a pipeline of projects and opportunities where Turf Haus can be specified.
Market Development
- Research and target new industries or project types where turf can be a beneficial addition (e.g., residential, commercial, municipal, recreational).
- Represent Turf Haus at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations.
- Deliver presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations for professional partners.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with the marketing team to develop sales materials tailored to professional audiences.
- Work closely with operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client support.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics, reporting regularly to leadership through HubSpot CRM.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of sales or business development experience (channel sales, construction materials, landscaping, or building products preferred).
- Strong network or familiarity with landscape architects, contractors, or design professionals preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to educate and influence.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
- Willingness to travel regionally to build and maintain relationships.
