Job Duties:
- Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees.
- Assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures such as retaining walls and paver.
- Perform ground-keeping and building maintenance duties.
- Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
- Shovel snow from the walkways.
- Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, excavation grading and other responsibilities.
- Sweep walkways of debris.
- Rake, mulch, and prune the ground as needed.
- Install rock, cement, lighting, water, and furniture.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Working Conditions:
- Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
- Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Repetitive task.
- Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
