We are looking for a Landscape Maintenance Production Manager to lead our maintenance crews and work with our clients to ensure the highest quality of service and operational efficiency.

Job Summary:

The Landscape Maintenance Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the scheduling, efficiency, and quality of our landscape care crews. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong horticultural knowledge and excellent organizational skills. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard, supporting crews with resources, training, and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Crew Management (40%)

Oversee and manage 2 maintenance crews, ensuring high-quality work and efficiency.
Develop and implement schedules to maximize crew productivity
Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and provide hands-on training.
Meet with crew leaders daily to review schedules, client feedback, and operational needs.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and lead weekly safety meetings.

Client & Quality Assurance (30%)

Communicate with clients monthly and as needed to discuss upcoming visits and address concerns.
Proactively recommend service enhancements and maintain strong client relationships.
Oversee the completion of daily reports (Trello or other tracking systems) to document job progress.
Assist in troubleshooting job site issues to prevent delays and ensure smooth operations.

Resource & Financial Management (20%)

Monitor and manage job costs, ensuring work is completed within estimated time and budget.
Order materials and track inventory for maintenance jobs.
Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and available for use.

Team Development & Leadership (10%)

Train and mentor crew leaders and members, fostering growth and accountability.
Support the hiring and onboarding process for new maintenance team members.
Work closely with the Maintenance Sales Manager to align operations with business goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of fine gardening, horticulture, and plant care techniques.
Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and budgets effectively.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and solve problems proactively.
Proficiency with scheduling and tracking software (e.g., Trello, LMN, Google Docs).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 6:30-5:00
Friday: 10-12

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
3 weeks of PTO
