Role Description The Landscape Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in North East, MD. The technician is responsible for day-to-day landscape care, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and seasonal clean-up of residential and commercial properties. The role may include assisting with tree and shrub care, basic pruning, debris removal, and safe use of landscape equipment and tools. The technician will follow work orders, maintain a clean and organized job site, and support the crew in completing jobs on schedule. This position also involves interacting with clients in a professional manner and reporting any site issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other basic landscape tools.
- Experience or willingness to learn proper techniques for mowing, edging, mulching, pruning, and general grounds maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and commitment to using protective equipment as required.
- Effective communication skills and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and coworkers.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the North East, MD job site preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or tree services is beneficial but not required.
