Role Description This full-time, on-site Landscaper role is based in Port Charlotte, FL. The Landscaper is responsible for performing day-to-day landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and general lawn care. The role includes gardening activities such as soil preparation, weed control, pruning, and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees. Daily work also involves assisting with irrigation system monitoring and basic troubleshooting, supporting landscape design implementation, and ensuring all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-presented. The Landscaper collaborates with team members, follows safety guidelines, uses landscaping tools and equipment properly, and maintains a professional, respectful attitude toward clients and coworkers.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform core landscaping tasks, including Landscaping and Landscape Maintenance.
- Practical experience with Gardening, such as planting, pruning, and maintaining plants and shrubs.
- Basic knowledge of Irrigation systems, including operation, monitoring, and minor adjustments.
- Familiarity with Landscape Design principles to help implement plans and layouts.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and strong time management skills.
- Commitment to safety practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Port Charlotte, FL worksite.
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience is preferred but not required.
