Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance and Grounds Keeping professional to join our team in Abita Springs, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our property, including performing routine maintenance tasks and grounds keeping duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and minor carpentry.
- Maintain and repair equipment and tools as needed.
- Keep grounds clean and well-maintained, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, raking leaves, and removing debris.
- Operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events or special projects on the property.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance and grounds keeping preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Work Environment
