Role Description The Landscaper is a full-time, on-site role based in Greenbush, MI, responsible for the daily care and improvement of outdoor spaces. Typical tasks include mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance for residential and commercial properties. The role involves using hand tools and power equipment, assisting with landscape installations, and supporting basic irrigation tasks such as checking sprinklers and watering schedules. Landscapers are expected to follow safety guidelines, maintain equipment, work effectively in varying weather conditions, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping tasks, including routine lawn care and property upkeep.
- Experience or interest in Gardening and basic plant care, such as planting, pruning, and seasonal cleanups.
- Familiarity with Irrigation practices, including checking systems, adjusting watering, and assisting with minor repairs.
- Basic understanding of Landscape Design concepts or willingness to learn and support design implementation.
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Greenbush, MI, and strong punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely with tools and equipment, and collaborate respectfully with team members and clients.
