Sunline Group is hiring a Regional General Manager to lead landscape, irrigation, tree care, and outdoor services operations South Florida East Coast markets. This is a hands-on field operations leadership role for someone with 7+ years of experience in commercial landscaping, tree care, irrigation, crew productivity, job costing, safety, and P&L management.
Regional General Manager – Landscape, Irrigation & Tree Operations
Location: Palm Beach, Florida
Compensation: $150,000 base + performance bonus
The ideal candidate will have experience with large commercial landscaping platforms, regional landscaping companies, tree care companies, or outdoor services operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across assigned markets, including landscape maintenance, irrigation, tree care, enhancements, and related outdoor services.
- Manage field leaders, crews, support staff, equipment, schedules, service quality, safety, and customer commitments.
- Drive operational performance by improving labor productivity, routing, scheduling, job profitability, equipment utilization, and service execution.
- Oversee staffing needs based on workload, contract requirements, backlog, overtime, productivity, equipment availability, and revenue impact.
- Partner with leadership, sales, HR, and finance to support customer retention, revenue growth, workforce planning, and profitability.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for customers, field teams, and operational issues.
- Support integration of acquired companies into Sunline’s operating standards, systems, reporting, and performance expectations.
- Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company, customer, local, state, and federal requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in landscaping, irrigation, tree care, vegetation management, outdoor services, public works, utilities, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Regional Manager, Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or senior field operations leader.
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscaping operations, crew productivity, job costing, scheduling, safety, service quality, fleet/equipment utilization, and labor planning.
- Experience managing field-based teams and multiple crews.
- Experience with P&L responsibility, revenue, labor, expenses, margins, budgets, and operational KPIs.
- Tree care and/or irrigation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with municipal, HOA, commercial, property management, or public-sector customers preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between Fort Myers, Palm Beach, and surrounding markets.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
