Reporting directly to the Lead Designer, the successful candidate will manage consultations, prepare highly accurate property estimates, and build detailed scopes of work that align with premium quality standards. The primary objective is to drive revenue and ensure a seamless handoff to field production by translating client dreams into buildable, profitable, and meticulously documented project plans.

Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound sales inquiries across phone, email, and digital platforms.
- Conduct exhaustive on-site consultations to comprehensively evaluate property conditions, landscape goals, and client budgets.
- Formulate clear, accurate, and detailed project estimates factoring in specialized materials, labor hours, equipment requirements, and operational margin metrics.
- Develop and present polished, compelling project proposals, effectively guiding prospective clients through the final design and contract approval process.
- Coordinate extensively with internal Operations and Production teams to confirm all proposed builds are structurally feasible, accurate, and aligned with field execution capabilities.
- Document and transition sold accounts thoroughly to support material procurement, master scheduling, and installation teams through project kickoff.
- Maintain highly structured, organized records of all client communication history, sales activity, and historical proposal data.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent field experience will be evaluated in lieu of a degree.
- Documented experience in landscape sales, construction estimating, or a highly consultative client-facing project development capacity.
- Robust technical knowledge of landscape installation methodologies, standard construction materials, and hardscape/softscape sequencing.
- Proficiency in navigating CRM platforms, project management software, and modern estimating systems.
- Excellent consultative sales, interpersonal communication, and professional presentation skills.
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail, strong time-management capabilities, and a valid driver's license for job site travel.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Base Salary: $70,000
- Seasonal Hours: Structured flexibility with a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM routine from April to December, transitioning to a relaxed 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule during the winter off-season
