We are entering a focused growth phase and are investing in our sales leadership to deepen relationships with facility managers, property managers, and operations leaders across the Austin metro.
The Role
We are hiring a Sales Director to lead revenue growth for our Austin market. This is a player-coach role. You will personally open and close new commercial accounts while building the sales process, sales team, and reporting discipline to scale. You will report directly to ownership.
The right candidate is a relationship-driven B2B seller who already has a credible network of Austin-area facility managers and property decision-makers. You do not need to come from the janitorial industry. You do need to know how to sell a recurring-revenue service into a facility-management buyer.
What You Will Own
- Hit new-revenue targets by personally hunting, qualifying, and closing commercial cleaning and facility service contracts across the Austin market.
- Leverage and expand your existing book of facility manager, property manager, and operations-buyer relationships.
- Build and lead the Austin sales function — hire, onboard, coach, and hold sales reps accountable to quota and activity standards.
- Own the sales process end-to-end: prospecting, walkthroughs, bid development, pricing strategy, proposals, negotiation, and contract close.
- Partner with operations to ensure clean handoffs, strong first-90-day client experience, and high retention.
- Implement and maintain CRM discipline — accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity reporting to ownership on a weekly cadence.
- Develop and execute an account-based growth plan for target verticals (Class A office, medical, industrial, education, multi-site property).
- Represent the company in local industry associations, networking events, and referral partnerships (BOMA, IFMA, AAOE, etc.).
What You Bring
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with demonstrated success selling recurring-revenue services into operations, facility, or property buyers.
- Proven sales leadership — you have built, hired, or managed a sales team and driven them to measurable results.
- An active, verifiable network of Austin-area facility managers, property managers, and commercial real estate decision-makers.
- Industry experience is not required. Strong candidates may come from janitorial, commercial landscaping, uniform rental, pest control, security services, HVAC, elevator, office coffee/vending, or other recurring-revenue B2B services.
- Comfort running site walkthroughs, building pricing, and producing written proposals.
- Strong written and verbal communication; clean, professional presence with facility and executive buyers.
- Disciplined CRM user; operator mindset; holds self and team accountable to numbers.
Compensation And Benefits
- Base salary: $80,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
- Competitive commission on new business — uncapped, paid on collected revenue.
