The Commercial Landscape Foreman serves as a crucial field leadership position responsible for managing commercial landscaping crews and ensuring projects meet scheduled milestones safely and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Superintendent, the ideal candidate will drive daily production, manage site materials, and oversee the hands-on installation of high-quality landscape features.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production planning and drive the crew to meet scheduled project milestones.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for crew issues, holding the authority to mentor, train, discipline, or remove team members as needed.
- Manage materials on-site, actively focusing on receiving, protection, and waste reduction.
- Interpret landscape plans to execute scope details accurately, including building valve box assemblies, trenching, laying sod, and testing/adjusting irrigation systems.
- Complete daily job reporting by submitting photos, notes, and progress updates.
- Ensure strict job site safety compliance and coordinate effectively with other subcontractors and project managers.
- Handle administrative crew duties, including safely driving the crew to and from sites, clocking teams in and out, and verifying laborer timecards.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant commercial landscaping experience.
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (skid steer, mini-ex, dingo, etc.) along with safe loading, tie-down, and unloading procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely drive a pickup truck with a trailer.
- Ability to accurately read plans and interpret complex landscape and irrigation scope details.
- Capable of mentoring and training Crew Tech Levels 1–2 in all assigned duties.
- Proficient in reading and speaking English; Spanish language skills are highly preferred.
