This Landscape Designer position will be responsible for creation, presentation and overseeing development of landscape projects while under the supervision of the head of design/sales. Associate will build and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
Strong working knowledge of all aspects of landscape construction is required and will be fortified by on-site training by installation team and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet new and existing clients for landscaping project and some maintenance sales
- Design comprehensive landscape plans that meet client needs while artistically enhancing their property
- Accurately calculate take-offs and create estimates on QuickBooks software
- Write up contracts, change orders, collect deposits/draws and final payments from clients
- Job cost projects from time sheets provided by landscape crews
- Have working knowledge of landscape planting and hardscape techniques per Company standards
- Manage sold projects with comprehensive knowledge of site preparation, drainage issues, elevation changes
- Ability to walk clients through any on-site issues or client requested change orders
- Working knowledge of current and new hardscape products and their pros/cons pertaining to each individual client
- Completion of plans, meetings, and projects on schedule and in a timely manner
- Possess working knowledge and installation techniques for holiday lighting
Requirements
- Degree in landscape architecture, horticulture or related field with proven sales experience
- Knowledge and understanding of landscape design, techniques, tools and principles in production of precision plans, prints and renders
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD based programs (Dynascape), Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and Vray
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain customer relationships
- Must demonstrate ability to efficiently manage projects and delegate responsibilities to members of the installation team
- Should be detail oriented and able to work well in a team environment or individually on projects
- Follow all safety procedures
- Must have a clean driving record and possess a valid driver’s license
- Capable of working in an outdoor environment (e.g., heat, rain, snow)
- Should be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
