What You’ll Do
You’ll be a key player in keeping our complexes looking exceptional—from beautifully manicured and landscaped grounds to world-class baseball and softball surfaces—helping ensure that every visitor, athlete, and family experiences the magic of Little League® from the moment they arrive.
Landscaping & Grounds Beautification
- Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and ornamental plants.
- Maintain flower beds, manage weeds, mulch, edge, and enhance landscaping year-round.
- Design and improve landscaped areas that balance beauty, safety, and sustainability.
- Monitor soil and irrigation needs; maintain and repair irrigation systems.
- Perform seasonal tasks (leaf removal, snow/ice removal, storm cleanup).
Sports Turf & Field Preparation
- Maintain high-quality turf for practices, games, and televised events.
- Assist with field preparation: mowing patterns, aeration, lining fields, grooming infields.
- Repair and improve turf through reseeding, sodding, topdressing, and pest control.
- Travel to Regional events to support on-site turf needs, including tournament field transitions.
- Partner with event staff to ensure surfaces are safe, consistent, and game-ready.
Equipment Operation & Care
- Operate and maintain mowers, robotic mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other turf equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and minor repairs to keep equipment in top shape.
- Safely handle tools, machinery, and materials using proper PPE.
Facilities & Community Support
- Assist with upkeep of buildings, walkways, stadiums, and public areas.
- Support setup and breakdown for clinics, meetings, and special events.
- Help maintain clean, accessible, and welcoming spaces for guests of all ages.
Safety, Integrity & Environmental Care
- Follow all safety protocols and encourage a safe working environment for all.
- Handle pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals responsibly and ethically.
- Monitor grounds and facilities daily to ensure the entire complex reflects our values and standards.
What You Bring
- Degree in horticulture, turf management, agronomy, or related fields.
- 1–3 years in landscaping or groundskeeping (sports turf experience is a huge plus).
- You love working outdoors and take pride in creating safe, beautiful spaces for the community.
- You’re detail-oriented, hands-on, and committed to doing quality work with integrity.
- You enjoy being part of a team but can work independently when needed.
- You’re eager to support the mission of youth sports and the experiences of players and families.
- You thrive in an environment where no two days look the same.
- Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience with irrigation systems, pest control, soil care, and turf repair.
- Field preparation knowledge (lining, grooming, mowing patterns, game-readiness).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to obtain necessary pesticide licenses.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), climb, bend, and operate machinery.
- Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with evening/weekend shifts during events or emergencies.
- Occasional travel to our regional tournaments or off-site events to keep them in top shape too!

This full-time non-exempt role is based outside in all weather conditions. While most work is done during normal business hours, occasional peaks in workload and special events such as the Little League World Series, and other key events, may require working in the evenings and on weekends.
