Position Overview
As a Sales & Turf Maintenance Representative, you'll be responsible for both selling synthetic turf products (such as lawns, putting greens, and pet/play areas) and promoting turf cleaning and maintenance services. This combined role ensures you’re the face of the business—educating, consulting, and closing deals across our full range of offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through canvassing, referrals, digital platforms, and networking
- Educate potential customers on artificial turf products—synthetic lawns, putting greens, pet play areas, etc.
- Conduct on-site consultations, take measurements, and present quotes for turf installation
- Close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Pitch and explain benefits of turf maintenance services to existing and prospective clients
- Converting maintenance customers and upselling packages
- Follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales funnel
- Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business
- Keep records updated in the CRM with all leads, estimates, bookings, and follow‑up activity
- Collaborate with operations for smooth job scheduling and customer service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales, particularly in home services, landscaping, or similar roles
- Excellent consultative and interpersonal communication skills
- Driven self-starter with a history of achieving or exceeding goals
- Comfortable spending time in the field and working independently
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Technologically adept with CRM systems, mobile tools, and email
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in turf, landscaping, synthetic grass, or home improvement sales
- Familiarity with the South Florida market (Palm Beach, Broward, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Jupiter, etc.)
