We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Designer/Salesperson to join our dynamic team! This position offers exciting opportunities to create, present, and oversee the development of landscapes for individuals and companies.

Position Summary: As a Landscape Designer at Salsbery Brothers, you will plan and create outdoor spaces that are fully functional and visually appealing. This role involves a blend of artistic vision and technical expertise to develop designs that enhance the natural environment while meeting the needs and wants of clients. Our Landscape Designers work on a variety of projects all while collaborating with clients, contractors, and other design professionals to bring designs to life. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape design, a keen eye for detail, and strong sales skills.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate and engage with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget while maintaining ongoing communication top ensure satisfaction and address any needs
Conduct thorough site evaluations to identify opportunities or constraints during the design process
Create an initial design through sketches, drawings, and digital models to present to clients while incorporating client feedback into the planning process
Develop detailed landscaping plans and estimates
Close sales by effectively communicating the value of our services
Overseeing the project, coordinating with contractors and suppliers while making sure budgets and timelines are met
Working closely with our other landscape designers and sales staff, participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall collective goal

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related fields
Proven experience in landscape design and sales
Proficient in design software
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Position Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
