Job Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering positive relationships with clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

– Oversee the day-to-day management of assigned landscape maintenance and snow and ice removal accounts to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds clients' expectations.

- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for each account.

- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely and effective delivery of support services.

- Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work and identify any issues that must be addressed.

- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their service requests, landscape improvements, and changes to scheduled services.

- Prepare and present clients with proposals for additional services, including enhancements, irrigation repairs seasonal color changes, and other landscape projects that enhance property value and appearance.

- Monitor the financial performance of each account, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses to ensure profitability.

- Lead, train, and support maintenance crews, providing guidance on proper horticultural practices, safety protocols, and company standards.

- Respond promptly to client inquiries, service requests, or complaints, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.

- Prepare and present service proposals and renew contracts with existing clients.

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, performed services and client communications.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote services and expand the customer base.

- Ensure all equipment and vehicles under your stewardship are well-maintained and operated safely.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

- Proven work experience as a Landscape Account Manager, or similar role in the landscaping industry

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance management

- Strong knowledge of plant material, pest management, and maintenance best practices.

- Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and accounts simultaneously

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and vendors in both written and verbal forms

- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and training maintenance staff

- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions, including cold and inclement weather during snow and ice events

- Working knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and safety protocols

- Experience with budgeting, bidding, and financial management for landscape and snow removal projects

- In-depth knowledge of horticultural practices, plant identification, and landscape maintenance operations

- Strong understanding of snow and ice management procedures and equipment

- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction

- Proficient in the use of landscape management software (Aspire) and Microsoft Office Suite

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Physical ability to perform landscape maintenance tasks and operate equipment as needed

- Certification as a Landscape Professional (CLP) or Certified Snow Professional (CSP) is a plus

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are beneficial
