Responsibilities- Leadership, management and accountability of yourself and team members in the administrative department
- Develop, improve, and implement efficient operational systems, processes related to accounting, and best practices for general operational workflows. Develop SOPs as directed and required
- Perform other tasks, special projects, and analysis as needed
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records of accounting functions: invoicing sales, inventory, and purchasing
- Weekly payroll and all related payroll functions
- Process A/P, A/R, and financial statements
- Journal entries
- Comply with accounting regulations and best practices
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Prepare, analyze, and identify trends in job costing
- Monitor monthly department expenditures and communicate status to management
- Assist departments in the preparation of department budgets and budget materials
- Assist in the development of multi-year forecast estimates for department expenditures
- Provide budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Pursue opportunities for cost savings and suggest changes where appropriate
- Provide professional customer service to external and internal customers
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
